- getmac - this tool is use to display your MAC addresses for network adapters on your system. MAC address is actually a unique number or ID which was set by manufacturer on network devices such as wireless adapter, ethernet adapater, etc.
- hostname - check what your computer name on the network.
- ipconfig - is use to display your machine IP address, subnet mask and gateway for each adapter associated with the TCP/IP. But users can also refresh the DHCP and DNS settings from this tool.

- net – is a general tool with commands covering a broad range of functionality.

- pathping – a combination of ping and tracert functionality.
- nbtstat – displays protocol statistics and connections using NetBIOS.
- ping – use to check whether an IP or a computer is reachable across an IP network.
- route – manipulates network routing tables.
- tracert – is use to check connectivity of the network. You can troubleshoot network problems by using this too.
